Terms & Conditions
Before using Starlight.co.uk, the terms and conditions should be noted as these will govern your use of the site. Please read the following carefully, as these affect you regarding your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree with, or do not wish to abide by these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.
Our terms and conditions may change over time, and you will be notified of these changes via either email or a notification clearly displayed on the site. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions we may introduce, you should no longer continue to use this site.
By using this site, you agree fully to be bound by the following terms and conditions, these do not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery and Postage
We will send your parcel 1st class recorded delivery, please allow 2-3 working days. Reasonable allowance should be made for orders made over the weekend and at times of National Holidays. We cannot be held responsible for late delivery beyond our control.
UK
A delivery charge of £4.95 will be added to the order at the checkout. This includes a parcel of up to 5 items. For more than 5 items, an extra £1 will be charged per item. Once we have dispatched your order we will e-mail you to confirm.
If the weight of your order is in excess of the postage stated we will contact you if there are any additional charges.
Within the EU
A delivery charge of £8.00 will be added to the order at the checkout. This includes a parcel of up to 3 items. For more than 3 items, an extra £1 will be charged per item. Once we have dispatched your order we will e-mail you to confirm.
If the weight of your order is in excess of the postage stated we will contact you if there are any additional charges.
Rest of the World
A delivery charge of £15.00 will be added to the order at the checkout. This includes a parcel of up to 3 items. For more than 3 items, an extra £1 will be charged per item. Once we have dispatched your order we will e-mail you to confirm.
If the weight of your order is in excess of the postage stated we will contact you if there are any additional charges.
We will not be liable for any loss of product due to the incorrect address being entered.
Returns
To receive a refund or exchange, items can be returned in their original condition, with labels attached, within 14 days of receipt. Please note: we only offer an exchange on sale items.
Please include the original receipt, your contact details and e-mail address so that we can e-mail you to confirm your refund. Please note that the package is the customer's responsibility until received by us. Therefore we recommend recorded delivery and that you request proof of postage. Once the refund is processed it should reach your account within 5 working days. The postage cost is also the customer's responsibility.

Prices and VAT
Our prices are stated in pounds sterling (£), and the price of each individual product will clearly be displayed.
Payment Methods
All payments are processed by PayPal for secure online shopping. If you do not have a PayPal account, simply click on "do not have a PayPal account" on the PayPal payment page, you are under no obligation to join.
If you do wish to create an account, it is completely free of charge to set up and will give you re-assurance and confidence of paying for your items, safely and securely online.
We aim to give 100% customer satisfaction. Please let us know of any problems and we will do our up most to correct them to a high level.
Acceptance of Order
- By accessing our online checkout, you can purchase your chosen products. You will be shown exactly what you have selected to purchase at the checkout, and given the opportunity to check your order and correct any errors.
- The acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order, and it is then that a purchase contract is made, even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your request for an order, or you have cancelled your order.
Refusal of an Order
We will refuse to accept an order where
- The chosen goods are unavailable
- Where we are unable to authorise your payment
- If there has been a pricing or product error
- If you do not meet our terms and conditions
Cancellation of an Order
You may cancel an order by
- Emailing jane@starlightclothing.co.uk, before the goods have been dispatched
- If the goods have already been dispatched, please refer to our 'Returns' section.
Proprietary rights
You are permitted to print and download extracts from this website for your own use on the following basis:
- No documents or graphics from this site are modified
- No graphics from this website are used separately from the accompanying text with which they are originally placed
- Our copyright notices and permission notice for the use of our graphics are displayed in all copies

Availability of the starlight clothing site
We constantly strive to give our customers the best possible service available, however we cannot guarantee that all our products will meet your requirements, and our site will be problem free. If you find fault within our site, or would like to comment on our products and services, please email jane@starlightclothing.co.uk.
Our site should be available around the clock, however there may be times when maintenance and improvement checks will be carried out on the site, and for these times the site may not be available. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

Our terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be decided by only by English Courts. Any disputes between you and us are concluded in English
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions.
If you breach our terms and conditions and at the time we ignore these, we are still entitled to use our rights at a later date in any other situation where terms and conditions are breached.
